What did you want from Us?

Believe it or not I’m very optimistic about the future of printing and communications for our business, but every once in a while every printer must get a little feeling of irrelevance when they watch all of the changes that our business is going through. ┬áThe printing business is still a 91 Billion dollar business (at least thats what the statisticians of our industry say), but when you see the plethora of ways to communicate a message, you know there’s a lot of change going on.

So, I started to think “what is the best thing that we could offer with our print services” , and I just came up with 3 tried and true qualities that we need to stay focused on. I could have written the same thing in the 1990’s and it would have been true also. I guess some things are just timeless

  • Service, The ability to meet the needs of our customers and exceed their expectations. Providing prompt quotes, offering helpful hints and and providing prompt job completion, all while being friendly (consistently being friendly might just top them all).
  • Reliability, We’ve been around since 1977, we have a strong group of long term employees as well long term customers. We’ve got the equipment and processes to offer top end quality. Basically, we are there when you need us.
  • Competitive Prices, Every dollar needs to count these days, thats not a secret. I feel like it’s our responsibility to point out areas where our customers can save money, save time or save something. Since 2008. the whole attitude of business has changes so much along with the budgets and communications needs. I’m a business owner, and I feel it also.

We have a lot of other things we are thinking about and working on, but as old school as it may sound I think these 3 qualities are still keeping us ahead of the curve.
