GOSIGER LUNCH AND LEARN INVITE

SITUATION

Gosiger, a longtime Oregon customer,  hosted a series of “lunch and learn” events to educate potential customers about new equipment. They wanted to create a slick, exclusive-looking ticket to invite customers—and the event was fast approaching so we had to act quickly.

SOLUTION

Printing “cool” projects and turning them around fast was nearly impossible until now. By using our new Digital HP Indigo 5600 press, we can help clients like Gosiger create something unique with specialty techniques, thanks to the beauty of digital technology.

We designed the invitation to incorporate white ink. To do this, we used four hits of white ink plus CMYK to achieve the effect we wanted.

For paper, we doubled up: we chose a 110# Mohawk Uncoated Cover paper in Urban Gray and a GPA 100# Uncoated Cover in Midnight Black. These were laminated together, giving the invites a sturdy, heavy-duty feel.

RESULT

We got the invitations designed, printed, laminated, and cut in four days flat, in time for Gosiger’s event. That’s one of the great things about digital printing. Even with advanced inks and finishing techniques, we can turn pieces around even under tight deadlines.

Gosiger sales reps will hand invitations out to clients while on sales calls. They plan to start using tickets like these for all seminars they host. The company’s bet: these high-end pieces will serve as a memorable takeaway—and persuade potential customers to come by the shop.
