Despite the challenges that came with 2020, they still needed a way to interact with their members and allow them to receive Ad Specialties and literature. NANT needed a way to connect with their community in a totally new way and knew we, with our 40-year history of having the best printing services in Dayton, OH, could help.

Putting all our heads together, we came up with the idea to have a “Conference in a box”– a data-personalized box with all the goodies someone would get at an in-person conference, meant to be mailed out prior to the virtual conference.

This would allow the members to receive their items and still have that personal touch without being together, and it was a great ice breaker interaction for everyone that attended the conference virtually on Zoom.

Each box sent to a recipient had a personalized printed name label. The box included items such as a face shield, a hat, a pen, flyers, magazines, a nail kit, a stress ball, an onsite program, and more.

The boxes were a huge success and were a cornerstone of NANT’s mission to help everyone feel just as connected to one another as past, in-person conferences. One attendee even went so far as to personally create a Facebook group for the conference attendees so they (approximately 200 of them) could stay connected beyond the event.

“We turned to Oregon for several reasons. Oregon could give us one-stop shopping. They were willing to accept deliveries from our exhibitors, take the time to look at what was being sent, and recommend the best size box to send out.

They were able to coordinate with our designer on the box label, then print variable data personalization on that label. Oregon dealt with our registration workflow for this mailing and we thought it to be a rousing success.

We saw an increase in our attendance from the previous conference of 400%! This meant that vendors could reach four times the number of attendees and are four times more interested in working with NANT.
